About

The Cambridge Romanian Society (CRS) is the official society for Romanian students at the University of Cambridge. Founded on November 25, 2007 and registered with the University senate on March 3, 2008, the society aims at raising awareness of Romania and promoting Romanian culture: thematic parties, concerts, poetry readings, formal halls, garden parties, talks and films, and even language courses. We are also involved in campaigns aimed at promoting Romanian values in the United Kingdom. Our involvement has been recognised by the Romanian Embassy in London, which awarded the society theĀ “Student Society Distinction” prize in 2015.

You can find more information about how the society operates in our constitution.
